What employee data do you collect? Full name and email address.
Is StoryTagger GDPR compliant? Yes, StoryTagger complies with GDPR. We have implemented strict data protection protocols and regularly review our practices to ensure compliance with all GDPR requirements.

Is data secured in transit? Yes, user data is encrypted during transfer using industry-standard Laravel tools (OpenSSL to provide AES-256 and AES-128 encryption)
Who has access to our data? Access to your data is restricted to named employees and StoryTagger support personnel on a need-to-know basis, with access controls.
Does confidential information get shared? Stories typically focus on professional development, lessons learned, and behaviours. Administrators can guide employees on what not to share.
Is SSO available? Yes, on our Professional and Enterprise plans. There is a one-off admin fee for setting up SSO.
Does StoryTagger use AI? This knowledge base (Intercom) has an AI bot that has been trained to support administrators and users. All our data is hosted on Intercom's EU servers. Our transcription/subtitling tool uses an AI service via API (Sonix) to convert audio to text. Both these services are currently optional to use.
Will StoryTagger complete our onboarding questionnaire? Depending on the plan you purchase, we can commit time to completing custom documentation. However, we may charge an admin fee if your requirements exceed our allowed resources.
