Introduction to campaign structure

As a curator, it's helpful to know how StoryTagger structures a campaign. There are four components which fit together like this:

1. Campaigns

These are the overall containers you use to share story interview topics with your people. A campaign generally focuses on one main theme or aligns to a cohort, community or goal.

2. Topics

A campaign can contain multiple topics which all support the overall theme. Topics allow you to explore a theme through different perspectives or track a story over time. One completed topic = one published video story.

3. Parts

Story topics break down into bite-sized parts to make the process of storytelling and recording experiences simple for everyone. Parts allow you to apply a simple narrative arc that helps people create short, personal on-topic videos. You can also download the individual parts separately to create brilliant montages.

4. Prompts

Use prompts and questions within Parts to guide your people to reflect on experiences that surface the types of stories you need. You can set up to five prompts.
